Trust the Path
What should I do? How do I avoid this chaos? I find myself getting caught up in looking for a quick fix to problems. How can I master my life...right now? Can we all just get along...starting today? Every morning, when I step outside, I look up and hope to see an eagle gliding above which would be pretty extraordinary since I'm not near water. Most days are “average”; most days, I see a bright red cardinal.
Everyday, we also see ourselves and our loved ones. We all have the power to make great changes in our lives within our own hearts. So, average can actually be rather extraordinary if you allow yourself to let go of expectations of encountering the seemingly majestic. You, my friend, are already majestic.
The cardinal teaches us with its consistency of the trees it frequents and predictable habits. Both male and female raise the chicks. Steady and calm, they know how to survive, even prosper. How lucky we are to be consistently gifted with their striking red, song bird beauty.
We are also gifted with the simple yet profound philosophy rooted in Pangu Shengong, Yoga, and Tai Chi. Ou Wen Wei, qi gong grand master and creator of Pangu Shengong, asks us to calmly strive to be: kind, benevolent, sincere, friendly, even tempered and treat others with courtesy, act with conviction, and do good deeds.
Take a chance on kindness. Take a chance on a method that is seemingly average, but is actually divine. Trust the path.
May your holidays be harmonious and New Year full of love. May your good deeds bring calm to all.
Please contact me if you would like to learn Pangu Shengong. It would be an honor for me to teach you.
